We’ll hit the dance floor this week while Melody Rose and the Top Hat Turtles present a fresh take on old favorites.  As many of you recall Melody is a very accomplished singer and the band is tight.

Join us for night of dancing to variety of swing songs plus a few ballroom dances for good measure.  The Moose Lodge has a fabulous, HUGE 1000 square foot dance floor & plenty of tables to relax and chat.

Band: Melody Rose

Melody Rose is an emerging vocalist from Long Island, New York. At 21 years old, Melody has been fortunate to have had many prestigious opportunities, such as studying with the New York Voices, touring Europe on two occasions, performing the Montreux Jazz Festival, being included in select ensembles in schools and in New York State, and having performances of her own solo career. Melody can be found on select Friday nights at the Huntington Elks Lodge, as well as in various other clubs, bars, and events around Long Island. The Melody Rose Quartet takes the sounds of Doris Day, Sarah Vaughn, Billie Holiday, and Blossom Dearie, all with a modernized twist to bring the classic standards of the Great American Songbook back into trend.
