Kick off your holiday weekend with the Gail Storm Quartet, featuring bandleader Gail Storm on keyboard/vocals who delivers classic blues/jazz ranging from sultry ballads to jump blues with swingin’ boogie-woogie bass lines. The chemistry is electric on stage with hot sax from Shenole Latimer, driving rhythms and soul-felt solos from guitarist Joe Vicino, and sensitive rhythmic variations from drummer Bernice Brooks.
You do not need a ticket to listen from the upper level lawn, but bring a blanket or chair. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the theater.
