Long Island’s best Dixieland Jazz Band will be playing for Swing Dance Long Island’s dancing pleasure at the Smithtown Historical Society’s Brush Barn, Saturday December 1, 2007.
Be ready for a great time. Fundamental swing lesson (to get you started), from 7:30PM to 8:00PM. With the Isotope Stompers performing at 8:00PM to 11:00PM.
Beginners are welcome & no partner is required.

The member Appreciation Dance has been moved one week earlier to Tuesday, December 11th, since Brennan’s will not be available to us on Dec 18th. We are still hoping to have Nick Polumbo & the Filipped Fedoras for this event.
Swing Dance Long Island would like to thank all of our SDLI members for supporting our dance events throughout the 2007 year. In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, SDLI’s board would like to extend our tradition of offering all current SDLI members in good standing, free admission to this special holiday dance. Due to a scheduling conflict with a private party at Brennan’s Irish Pub, Swing Dance Long Island will not be meeting this Tuesday, December 18th, 2007. This the member appreciation dance with Nick Polumbo and the Filipped Fedoras has been moved up a week to Dec 11th. So due to the holiday’s SDLI will not have a Tuesday dance for 3-weeks in a row - Dec 18, 2007; Dec 25, 2007; and Jan 1, 2008
