The Common Ground at the Town of Islip’s Rotary Park

Located between Gillette Avenue and Candee Avenue in Sayville, NY

DIRECTIONS FROM LIE ROUTE 495 HEADING EAST OR WEST ....

Take EXIT 59 to CR-93 South / OCEAN AVENUE. Continue to follow CR-93 S. Drive 4.1 miles. CR-93 S becomes LAKELAND AVENUE. Drive 1.4 miles Drive over the LIRR railroad tracks. LAKELAND AVENUE becomes RAILROAD AVENUE. Drive 0.3 miles. At the traffic light in downtown Sayville, continue straight (south) RAILROAD AVENUE becomes GILLETTE AVENUE. The Common Ground park will be on your right in less than 0.1 mile.

You're Invited!

Join a friendly group of people for a mix of East Coast Swing, Savoy Lindy Hop, Hollywood Lindy, West Coast Swing, Balboa, Collegiate Shag and some Ballroom dancing. No partner is needed and beginners are welcome.

Every Tuesday Evening

Beginner dance lessons start at 7:30 PM with dancing between 8:00 PM & 10:30 PM. We meet at the grand ballroom of Pomodorino Ristorante Italiano, 648 Motor Parkway, Hauppauge, NY.

Admission on non-band nights is $4 for members, $5 for students and $6 for nonmembers. Slightly higher band nights.

First Saturday of Month

We meet at the Smithtown Historical Society's Brush Barn. Beginner swing lesson at 7:30 PM, with dancing between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
