On Selection ... Different garment style have different color and sizing options. For example the sweatshirts have only 3 color options, but the standard tee shirts have more then 30.

On Dark Colors ... Certain graphics are only available on Black or Dark colors.

On Front / Back ... All garments have graphics on the front. Before ordering, check the front and back of the design. Only some of the &#8220;Sock Hop&#8221; graphics have a smaller graphic on the back.

On Sizes ... A few of the women&#8217;s garments as described as &#8220;fitted&#8221;. On the printfection.com website this is described as &#8220;Sporty yet sexy with a form&#45;fitting, contoured cut that flatters a woman&#8217;s curves. Very Fitted. Size up for a semi&#45;fitted look.&#8221; Most women will want to up&#45;size at least one size and you will still maintain that &#8220;Fitted&#8221; look.

SDLI has purchased some T&#45;shirts which we will bring along to the next few dances. Feel free to try on the samples, so you have a good idea of the sizes before ordering.

If you do not have a credit card, there will likely be other members ordering a T&#45;shirts for themselves or as holiday gifts during the next few weeks. All embroidered products will be available from Lands End. We are offering the following design, which is able to be embroidered on a wide variety of Lands End&#8217;s products, including fleece jackets, blouses, fine knit sweaters, lab coats, oxford shirts and &#8220;dance shoe&#8221; bags. Just about anything in their &#8220;business outfitters&#8221; catalog.





The website is now available for ordering. Please MANUALLY type in the following URL, eliminating the spaces separating the characters.&amp;nbsp; The embroidered design is about 4 inches by 4 inches. After you choose your item, you will be prompted for which logo to apply. Please select &#8220;SDLI 1&#8221; and the location that you want it applied to. If you do not select a  logo, you will not get your item embroidered. This Long Island&#45;based 20&#45;piece Big Band specializes in original and authentic arrangements of Swing&#45;Era music from the 1930s until the early 1950s. The members of Swingtime are veterans of regional Big Bands and orchestras, including Ira Alexander’s Swingtimers, the Tommy Dorsey Big Band, the Stardusters and Artie Shaw’s Big Band. Swingtime boasts two fine vocalists: Bobbie Ruth, who recreates the classic “gal vocal” style and Jerry Costanzo, who evokes the crooners of the age. Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks&#8212;20s &amp;amp; 30s Dance&#8212;In 30 years as a bandleader, Vince Giordano has become the authority on recreating the sounds of 1920s and ‘30s jazz and popular music. “I just love the energy of the early jazz,&#8221; says Giordano. &#8220;I wanted to recapture some of that.” Early appearances with Leon Redbone and on Prairie Home Companion and lending his talents to Francis Ford Coppola’s film The Cotton Club, led to working with Dick Hyman’s Orchestra in half a dozen Woody Allen soundtracks then as a bass player in Sean Penn’s band in Woody’s Sweet and Lowdown. He and band were featured in Gus Van Sant’s film Finding Forrester, in Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator, Robert DeNiro’s film, The Good Shepherd and most recently in Sam Mendes’ upcoming film: Revolutionary Road. Swing Dance Long Island has it&#8217;s weekly Tuesday swing dance at Pomodorino Ristorante Italiano in Hauppauge.&amp;nbsp; The swing lesson will being at 7:30PM with the social dancing from 8:00PM through 10:30PM.


The dances will be held in the main ballroom, which contains a circular wooden dance floor and a small stage for bands. The ballroom entrance is on the front&#45;left corner of the building, please take the stairway down.


Pomodorino servers great Italian food,  brick oven pizza and wonderful deserts.

From the West on the Long Island Expressway (495)

Get off at LIE exit 53 onto the South Service Road. (Exit 53 is also the exit for Saqitkos State Parkway.) Travel along the service road passing the Sagtikos State Parkway. Make a left onto Washington Ave at one of the lights. You will head North over the LIE, for about 1000 feet. At the intersection, turn right onto Motor Parkway. Proceed East for 500 feet, turn right at the next light into the Pomodorino parking lot.


From the East on the Long Island Expressway (495)

Get off at LIE exit 55 (Motor Parkway/Central Islip) onto North Service Road. At the light, turn right onto (Vanderbilt) Motor Parkway. Proceed West for three additional traffic lights. Marcus Blvd will be on your right and Pomodorino will be on your left at the light.</description>
