At The Whiskey Wind Tavern, Greenport, NY

West Coast Swing Lessons & Dancing.  You do not need a partner!  If you have never danced before now is your chance to learn how.  We will start with the very basic of the dance and move onto patterns and fun moves!

7:00–8:00 West Coast Swing Basics
8:00-11ish Open Dancing

$12 lesson & dance, $ 8 dance only

Blake Hobby (Blake Hobby)

Blake Hobby is a two time US Open Champion. She has been competing, teaching, and judging on the National Swing Circuit for 15 years.

Previous to entering the Swing world, Blake danced in ballet companies in Atlanta and Boston.  She also holds a masters degree in teaching which is evident in her planning and implementation of dance instruction.  Her teaching style is clear, direct and easy and focuses on technique and execution.

Blake has recently moved from Connecticut and now resides in New York.

You're Invited!

Join a friendly group of people for a mix of East Coast Swing, Savoy Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, Balboa and some Ballroom dancing. No partner is needed and beginners are welcome.

Every Tuesday Evening

Beginner dance lessons start at 7:30 PM with dancing between 8:00 PM & 10:30 PM. We meet at Huntington Moose Lodge, 631 Pulaski Road, Greenlawn, NY.

Admission on non-band nights is $4 for members, $5 for students and $6 for nonmembers. Slightly higher band nights.

First Saturday of Month

We meet at the Smithtown Historical Society's Brush Barn. Beginner swing lesson at 7:30 PM, with dancing between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
