On September 16th (Sunday) we are going to do “Swing ‘n Hustle with Latin Spices” 
at Mirelle’s in Westbury. We are going to start 1 hr. earlier as previously advertised so that we can go home early too
Here’s our schedule on that day:
5:00 - 5:30 pm: Lesson, “Swing for Beginners” by Rudy Alforque;
5:30 - 6:30 pm: Lesson, “Beg/Int. Hustle” with Alexis Andrea;
Hot food dinner buffet opens at 6:30 pm; General social dancing from 6:30 up to 10 pm!
“Disco/Hustle ‘n Swing” dance mix with Latin spices by Rudy Alforque.
Cost: $15 per person includes hot food buffet, lessons, and social dancing!

General Admission : $15
Dance classes are held from 7-8 PM before the band starts playing. There is no additional charge for these classes which are taught by guest instructors from various dance schools. The band plays from 8:00 to midnight, usually broken up into four sets. Recorded music is played during the three intermissions, so people can still dance while the band is on break. Sometimes an intermission will feature dance performances by guest artists.

Ellen teaches West Coast Swing (WCS) every week at Matty T’s.
Dancing is every Wednesday night at 7:30PM with the beginner West Coast Swing lesson starting at 7:30PM and the intermediate dance lesson at 8:30PM. Open dancing with a California mix of music until 11:00PM. (Previously the lessons where held on Sunday and Mondays).

From the Southern State: Take exit 39N Beer Park. Go About 8/10 of a mile North. Make a slight Right onto Commack Road. Matty T’s is about 1.2 miles on your left hand side.
From the LIE: Take exist 52 Commack Road. Head South on Commack Road. Matty T’s is about 2.5 miles up on your right hand side.
Note on Parking: Please do not park in the lots to the left and right of Matty T’s. Park in the rear, street or in the Bank just North on opposite side of the street.
